In the year of 1964, Congregation of Medical Sisters of St.Joseph (MSJ) started Assumption Hospital Trust, with the vision of quality health care to the rural people, especially to the poor and backward needy. We are looking to improve our health care and other services with affordable charges. We are glad to improve our services towards offering you, what people expecting in the field of health care system. It’s quite satisfying to turn back of our last 55 years of our services, we can see thousands of smiling faces, wiped tears of weaker and supports to the needy. WE CARE Assisted Living Centre and Palliative Care unit also functioning in the hospital with quality services. Here we realized healing is not just curing, it happens through compassionate care only. Through our highly qualified and dedicated doctors, administrative team, other professionals, supporting staffs, supportive and corporative funders we proving best quality treatment to the weaker section in the community. We want miles to go in the path of curative and preventive health care services sector with dedicated patient care and rehabilitation programs in future.

" New Begin to Life "
Assumption Hospital Trust is a Charitable Institution established in a humble beginning in the year of 1964 by the Congregation of Medical Sisters of St.Joseph in the rural village of Kanjirapuzha, Palakkad district with a small of 10 bed hospital. We offer excellent health services to both inpatients and outpatients with affordable charges and patient friendly atmosphere. Hospital grown to 70 bedded in the year of 1990, with the Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and Gynecology departments. In 1991 added Ophthalmology department. 24hours casualty is also set up for rendering effective medical aid care in the time of emergencies. The Kanjirapuzha panchayat area is not developed as big cities, the most of the people coming from middle working class and below poverty families. 5 tribal colonies surrounded the Assumption Hospital and it is only the healthcare system in this area people taking their medical and healthcare treatments.
In the year of 1995 Assumption school of nursing started and provided nursing education Affiliated to Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council for the girls from backward and poor families. This institution ensures both in the medical training and practice of nursing services make young girls to a talented for the service sector of nursing. Every year 20 students completing their three year nursing education from this institution with good and efficient training. In 2002 trust entered social development projects through Asha Community Program. Every week we conducting free medical checkup camps for the public. We organized many awareness programs, students screening tests, Educational support for the students in the Palakkad district. 2015 Assumption started WE CARE Assisted Living Centre and Palliative unit for the sick and the bedridden patients in the society with modern facilities and quality care with affordable prices.
